PURPLEThrough its color and form, this sugar bowl explores creativity, balance, and harmony. The ceramic vessel and wooden board evoke calm and stability, while the playful loop of the lid’s handle adds a jaunty gesture, almost as if tipping a salute to the viewer. Purple, often associated with uniqueness and dignity, is emphasized both in the sculptor’s choices and in maintaining the vessel’s functional integrity. This small piece allowed me to explore and capture the simple joy it brings.
