CRIMSON &Autumn landscapes often reveal their beauty through small, fleeting details—the changing color of leaves, the movement of vines, and the contrast between delicate growth and the quiet approach of winter. In this piece, I was drawn to the rich colors and patterns of an autumn vine, capturing the bright red leaves and dark berries against a softened background of warm, shifting tones.
Created through layered paper collage, the work explores how individual fragments can be transformed into a cohesive image. The circular textures of the background create a sense of depth and atmosphere, while the organic movement of the vine guides the viewer through the composition. Through this process, ordinary materials become a study of color, texture, and the subtle beauty found in seasonal change.
